NASCO is an established publishing company dedicated to offering quality saxophone quartets and ensembles to the performer, teacher and student.
Our Mission
The current NASCO catalogue includes over 200 transcriptions, arrangements, original quartets and ensembles from the library of Michael D. Nascimben. These quartets have been performed by numerous groups including the Da Capo Saxophone Quartet, the Amherst Saxophone Quartet, the Texas Saxophone Quartet, the Houston Saxophone Quartet, and numerous quartets throughout the world. They have a proven record of playability and audience appeal. Approximately 40 of the works in this initial catalogue have been recorded and are available on CD. Our mission is to make these works available to every saxophone quartet wishing to expand its repertoire.
Our Future
The NASCO catalogue is continuing to expand. We will be publishing about 10 - 20 new works every year. This new material will include many original saxophone quartets along with transcriptions and arrangements covering styles from music of the Renaissance up to Modern Classical, Ragtime, Pop and Jazz.
